Marketing is important for micro businesses and small businesses. There is so much to do when it comes to running a business. From keeping up with the finances, making sure your products and services are up to date, marketing, advertising and sales.
Marketing is a significant and essential part of running a business. So, what is marketing, and why is it vital for micro-businesses and small businesses?

What is Marketing?
Marketing is when you are promoting or selling your product or service to your target audience.
There are different parts to marketing within the business, from conducting market research to advertising your product.
During market research, you find vital information from your target audience in a bid to find out whether there is a product or service demand. Market research enables you to reach out to your target audience and whether or not there is a market gap that you will be able to fill.
Once you have done market research, you can then start to draft together an advertising schedule where you can target your audience on the platforms you know they use. Examples of which are a print flyer or a Facebook Ad. You are then promoting your product or services and trying to get sales.
